2. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid educational products, structured programmes, challenges, and fee-based consulting conversations offered through guidesyinventing.world or confirmed by written order. Free resources and purely informational browsing are not covered. Specific promotions may include alternative terms disclosed at purchase; those terms prevail where clearly stated.
3. Statutory rights for UK consumers
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This policy does not affect those mandatory rights. Digital content must be as described, of satisfactory quality, and fit for purpose. Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill.
For distance contracts, you generally have a fourteen-day right to cancel starting the day after purchase for many digital and service contracts, subject to exceptions below when you consent to immediate supply and acknowledge loss of the cancellation right where applicable law permits.
4. Digital educational products
Downloadable guides, session sheets, and reference packs are digital content. Upon purchase, you may receive immediate access. Where required by law, we will ask you to confirm that you understand immediate access may affect your statutory cancellation right for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once download begins.
If digital content is defective — for example corrupted files or material materially different from the description — contact us within thirty days with your order reference. We will provide a replacement file, corrected access, or a refund where correction is not reasonably possible.
Refunds are not available solely because you changed your mind after downloading complete, accessible files, except where the fourteen-day cancellation right applies and has not been validly waived.
5. Consulting conversations and programmes
5.1 Consulting sessions
You may reschedule a consulting conversation with at least forty-eight hours notice by emailing assist@guidesyinventing.world. Cancellations with adequate notice receive a full fee credit or refund to the original payment method. Cancellations within forty-eight hours of the scheduled start may incur an administrative fee up to fifty percent of the session price to cover reserved time.
5.2 Multi-week programmes and challenges
If you withdraw before the programme start date listed in your confirmation, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of payment unless materials were pre-released with your consent. After the start date, refunds are calculated proportionally for unused weeks not yet delivered, minus a reasonable administration charge of up to fifteen percent, provided you notify us within seven days of the first delivered week and have not completed more than twenty-five percent of scheduled content.
5.3 Missed sessions
Failure to attend a scheduled call without notice does not entitle you to a refund for that session. We will endeavour to offer one rescheduled slot when capacity allows.
6. How to request a refund or cancellation
Email assist@guidesyinventing.world with the subject line Refund Request and include your full name, order date, payment reference, product or service name, and reason for the request. For defective digital content, describe the issue and attach screenshots if helpful. We acknowledge requests within three business days.
You may also write to our London address. Keep copies of correspondence for your records.
7. Processing times and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval. Card issuers may require additional time to post credits to your statement. If the original method is unavailable, we will agree an alternative secure transfer where permitted.
Partial refunds or account credits will be confirmed in writing with the calculation shown.
8. Non-refundable circumstances
Refunds may be declined where:
- The request falls outside applicable timeframes and no defect is demonstrated.
- Evidence suggests abuse, repeated purchase-and-refund patterns, or sharing of materials in breach of Terms of Use.
- Customised materials were created specifically for you and delivered as agreed.
- You received the full benefit of live consulting time attended without reported service failure.
We will explain the reason for any decline and reference relevant contractual or statutory provisions.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a payment chargeback so we can investigate promptly. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to suspension of access to digital materials while the dispute is resolved. We cooperate with payment providers and supply transaction records as required.
